Pneu-Dart Type ‘C’ disposable RDD Devices are 13mm caliber and are designed to provide precise drug delivery in a convenient, inexpensive projectile. These RDD Devices are appropriate for use on small or large animals. Color coded in orange, Type ‘C’ RDD Devices are best used with our cartridge projectors. These RDD Devices are used with the following Pneu-Dart Model Projectors: Model 389 – Cartridge Fired

How They Work

Type ‘C’, ‘P’ and ‘U’ RDD Devices  quickly injects the liquid. As a consequence of the device mechanics, the RDD Device will “flash” when activated, a real asset in low-light conditions

Poly Dart Bodies (0.5 cc to 2 cc)

With the advent of our patented Slo-Inject® technology Pneu-Dart has fortified its plastic RDD Device body by transitioning over to an opaque polycarbonate resin. Equipped with a color-coded polypropylene Type ‘C’ or Type ‘P’ tail, the Slo-Inject® PolyCarb RDD Device possesses enhanced mechanical and superior chemical resistance properties.

Aluminum Dart Bodies (3 cc – 10 cc)

RDD devices (3.0cc – 10.0cc) are laser engraved with the volume of the injectable liquids capacity. With this value added feature “at-a-glance” identification will help provide the best treatment possible.  Made out of aluminum tubing, our RDD Devices are designed to ensure optimum performance under any condition.

Gelatin collars comprise of an inert material retaining the dart in place until the injection is made, and after several minutes will liquefy, allowing the RDD Device to fall freely from the animal.
